Program Overview:

The Wadhwani AI Expertise Enrichment Initiative (WEEI) is designed to attract exceptional talent from top-tier institutions to contribute to Wadhwani AI's mission while gaining valuable experience in the field of artificial intelligence and its real-world applications. 

 

1. Duration: 3-4 months

2. Stipend: As per industry standards

3. Eligibility:

- Students with strong academic background in relevant fields

- Previous internship experience at top consulting firms or tech companies preferred

 

4. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) for Interns: 

a) Project Streamlining and Automation

   - Identify inefficiencies in current processes

   - Develop and implement automation solutions

   - Document improved procedures for team adoption

b) Data Analysis and Modeling

   - Create Excel/spreadsheet models for various organizational needs

   - Develop forecasting models for budgets and infrastructure costs

   - Automate reporting and audit control processes

c) Knowledge Management

   - Create structured repositories for project documentation

   - Develop knowledge artifacts for the communications team

   - Organize and catalog existing organizational knowledge 

d) Impact Assessment

   - Develop formal impact models incorporating theory of change

   - Create evaluation frameworks for solution deployment across countries

   - Conduct measurements and validate project outcomes

e) Cross-functional Support

   - Assist in creating basic structures for the Product Life Cycle (PLC)

   - Support the extension of solutions across domains

   - Contribute to cost reduction initiatives through waste elimination

f) Research and Innovation

   - Conduct literature reviews and market research

   - Propose innovative solutions to organizational challenges

   - Assist in the development of AI-driven tools and applications

 

5. Program Structure:

- 1-week onboarding and project assignment

- 10-12 weeks of project work

- 1-week knowledge transfer and program wrap-up 

6. Mentorship and Supervision:

Interns will be assigned to specific projects and will work under the guidance of senior team members, with overall supervision from HoDs and the CEO.

7. Evaluation and Feedback:

Regular check-ins and a final presentation of project outcomes will be conducted to assess intern performance and gather feedback for program improvement.
