Wadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. We collaborate with governments, social sector organizations, academic and research institutions, and domain experts to identify real-world problems and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues to make a substantial positive impact.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Record and maintain financial transactions with accuracy, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
● Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
● Track expenses and identify any new expenditure patterns on a bi-weekly basis.
● Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance and assess potential risks and opportunities.
● Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
● Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide support for special projects and initiatives as required.
● Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in finance and analytics.

REQUIREMENTS
● Currently enrolled in or recently completed an MBA program with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
● Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical financial analysis.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
