SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Audio Annotator to join our team in creating high-quality training data for machine learning models. This remote position offers an immediate start date and requires expertise in audio transcription with a focus on precise annotation and timestamp marking.

As an Audio Annotator, you will be responsible for transcribing and annotating audio files to create accurately labeled data for model fine-tuning and evaluation purposes. You will work with provided audio files and their corresponding reference paragraphs to ensure precise transcription and annotation.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transcribe English audio files with timestamp annotations

• Identify and mark incorrect pronunciations within the audio

• Document speech elements including fillers, pauses, and background noise

• Note instances of multiple speakers in recordings

• Provide annotations in structured JSON format

• Maintain high accuracy standards in transcription work

• Meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks

REQUIREMENTS

• Native or native-level English language proficiency

• Minimum 1 year of experience in transcription and annotation for AI/ML projects

• Good understanding of Indian regional accents and speech patterns

• Excellent attention to detail and consistency

• Strong time management skills

• Ability to work independently

• Reliable internet connection

• Computer with audio capabilities

• Familiarity with transcription tools and JSON formatting
