SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented Audio Annotator to join our team in creating high-quality training data for machine learning models. This remote position offers an immediate start date and requires expertise in audio transcription with a focus on precise annotation and timestamp marking.
As an Audio Annotator, you will be responsible for transcribing and annotating audio files to create accurately labeled data for model fine-tuning and evaluation purposes. You will work with provided audio files and their corresponding reference paragraphs to ensure precise transcription and annotation.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Transcribe English audio files with timestamp annotations
-
Identify and mark incorrect pronunciations within the audio
-
Document speech elements including fillers, pauses, and background noise
-
Note instances of multiple speakers in recordings
-
Provide annotations in structured JSON format
-
Maintain high accuracy standards in transcription work

Meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
REQUIREMENTS

Native or native-level English language proficiency

Minimum 1 year of experience in transcription and annotation for AI/ML projects

Good understanding of Indian regional accents and speech patterns

Excellent attention to detail and consistency

Strong time management skills

Ability to work independently

Reliable internet connection

Computer with audio capabilities

Familiarity with transcription tools and JSON formatting
