SUMMARY

We are looking for a Consultant (HR and Admin Associate) for our Anthropometry Project funded by ICMR. This contractual role involves coordinating with a 3rd party vendor for hiring and managing around 50 consultants, ensuring the smooth administration of HR processes, handling contracts, and payments, and resolving issues. The Associate will act as a bridge between the 3rd party, our internal teams, and ICMR, ensuring effective communication and operational efficiency.

 

Please note: This is a contract-based position for 10 months initially, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and the third-party hiring agency.

  • Facilitate smooth communication between all stakeholders, including consultants, the third-party agency, and ICMR.

  • Monitor the progress of recruitment processes, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met by the third-party agency.

  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes of consultants with the third-party provider.

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and contractual obligations of consultants, including adherence to organizational and ICMR standards.

  • Review, manage, and approve employment contracts, deliverable logs, leaves, and expense reports submitted by the third-party agency for the consultants.

  • Handle queries related to employment, payroll, and benefits for consultants hired through the third-party agency.

  • Act as the bridge between the third-party agency, the internal HR department, ICMR, and consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and resolution of conflicts or issues.

  • Ensure all parties remain informed of timelines, processes, and expectations related to hiring and managing consultants.

  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Expertise in HR processes, data management, and financial oversight.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master’s in HR, Business Administration, or related fields; HR certifications are a plus.

  • 1+ year of experience in HR coordination and administration.

  • Familiarity with HR systems, processes, and vendor management.
