SUMMARY

The HR Operations Intern will assist with employee engagement, training coordination, HR administration, and compliance, supporting day-to-day HR tasks and contributing to a positive work environment and employee development initiatives.

Wadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. We collaborate with governments, social sector organizations, academic and research institutions, and domain experts to identify real-world problems, and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues with the aim of making a substantial positive impact.

We have over 30+ AI projects supported by leading philanthropies such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID and Google.org. With a team of over 200 professionals, our expertise encompasses AI/ML research and innovation, software engineering, domain knowledge, design and user research.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY

-Assist in organizing team-building activities, celebrations, and recognition programs to promote teamwork and celebrate employee achievements.
- Support the coordination of training programs and workshops by managing logistics and scheduling.
- Help maintain training calendars, track attendance, and gather participant feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
- Assist with general HR administration tasks, including preparing reports and updating employee records in HR databases.
- Support the HR team with documentation, and reporting duties.

 

REQUIREMENTS
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Psychology, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Passionate about problem solving.
