We are seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic Technology Research Analyst to join the Wadhwani AI PMU unit at the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) team. An ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented Technology Researcher with a passion for artificial intelligence (AI). This role plays a critical part in supporting AI research, documenting findings, and ensuring smooth operational workflows for technology-driven projects. The candidate should be an excellent researcher, communicator, and coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment..

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth research on AI models, technologies, and use cases across industries.

• Analyze AI-related datasets and resources to generate actionable insights.

• Stay updated on emerging advancements in machine learning, natural language processing, and related fields.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for AI research findings, frameworks, and workflows.

• Develop white papers, case studies, and reports to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ensure that documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to diverse audiences.

Project Support:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support AI-related initiatives.

• Assist in developing project roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables for AI research and implementation projects.

• Track and report on the progress of technology operations projects.

Knowledge Management:

• Organize and maintain a centralized repository of AI research, documentation, and best practices.

• Ensure proper version control and accessibility of resources for the team.

• Create templates, guidelines, and SOPs for research and documentation processes.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to gather inputs and validate documentation.

• Support internal and external presentations, workshops, and discussions on AI topics.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on research priorities and deliverables.

Compliance and Ethics

• Assist in ensuring that AI research and documentation adhere to ethical guidelines, data privacy laws, and organizational policies.

• Support the integration of fairness, accountability, and transparency into AI projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong research skills with the ability to analyze and synthesize technical information.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating technical documentation.

• Advance level understanding of AI technologies, frameworks, and terminology (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, NLP).

• Experience working with government agencies, research institutions, think tanks, or technology firms on policy development, regulatory analysis, or digital initiatives.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical audiences

• Collaborative mindset, with experience working in cross-functional teams

• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex environments and work effectively under pressure.

• High ethical standards and commitment to promoting responsible AI practices, including transparency, fairness, and accountability.
